Hello, I’m Tamsyn
If you told me at the end of my matric year of high school that in five years I would be a self-published writer, I would have been the first to laugh at you.
I’ve had a passion for writing for most of my teen life, but without much opportunity in South Africa I never thought it would be a career. I am very fortunate to be able to say that I wake up every day and get to do what I love.
Writing is the food on which my soul thrives, and when I’m not working on something new, I’m grumpy. Literally. I have an unhealthy obsession with the South, cowboys, and that sexy southern drawl that comes along with them. There is nothing sexier than a bad boy that speaks with a twang, and a girl who can rock cut off jean shorts with cowboy boots.
When I’m not reading the latest novels from my favorite authors, I can be found in front of my laptop getting lost in stories of my own making, all of which include happy endings. Despite many road bumps on my own journey, even at 29, I’m an optimist at heart, and believe everything happens for a reason.
I also believe that no dream is too big, and with hard work, determination, and perseverance, anything you want is within reach.
